Today was a great day at Pontiac! We had some tournaments going on.
6th grade girls Danbee soccer Tournament (coached by Emma Stephen) took first place!
4th Grade Boys Timberlake Soccer teams took first and second place…
The 9th grade boys Timberlake Hockey team took second place!
6th Grade boys Mahkeenac Football Team took 1st place!
Today was another day of regularly scheduled activities for the entire camp, except in the morning we had a late wake up for the rain, because the rest of the day had perfect sunshine!!
All camper boys were spirited!! Today was the opening College Games!! And everybody is ready to get the ball rolling!!
Today was a great day at camp!! Everyone had a busy first full day of activities, including their annual swim test that was conducted by the waterfront staff at their respective sides.
In the evening, sun was out and all campers got a chance to enjoy different outdoor sports.
Lower camp was very excited to have the first general swim on the lake… Whoop whopp!
Sophomore boys had the first camp out at Treetop, where they got to sing around the campfire and enjoy some delicious quesadillas and of course the traditional and everybody’s favorite: s’mores; while the sophomore girls had a chance to enjoy a pleasant evening singing camp songs and making s’mores together on the new island campsite.

A little rain can’t keep camp Pontiac down! We enjoyed a full day of activities playing Basketball, Hockey and Volleyball.
Every group participated in icebreaker and team building games to get into the true Pontiac spirit of working together and comradery. To finish off the night we transitioned 2014 to 2015 by watching color war videos and the new staff video! Everyone is so excited to get 2015 started!
All of the campers arrived safely, it was a very busy and fun day for everybody at Pontiac. After making sure everything was setup, we gave our campers the traditional warm welcome of cheering and hugging as they ran off the buses!
After a little rain and settling in we had an amazing Ice-cream party in the dining hall, everybody danced, sang and were reunited in the land of Red and White.
