Day 28

IMG 8458

Early this morning, some campers and staff participated in the Pontiac 5K Race as part of our Cross Country program.

Congratulations to the top ten and the rest of competitors who got involved.

Opening ceremony of our new Baseball field Pontiac Pop’s Park.

Today marked the opening day and ribbon cutting ceremony at Pontiac’s new Little League field, “Pop’s Park”! It is named in honor of the Etra family patriarch “Pop” Bernie Etra. At age 98, he threw out the first pitch surrounded by 6 of his 12 great-grandchildren as well as his grandchildren and children, all of whom attend or work at Pontiac. The entire camp cheered as we all witnessed a special and memorable moment at Pontiac, one we will forever cherish.
Always A Friend,
-The Etra Family

Tonight the entire camp gathered into the Playhouse to watch middle and upper camp annual “Sing” performances. All of the groups have been practicing hard the past week and did a fantastic job of entertaining the audience tonight.

The 2016 Sing winners were:

Juniors and CITs!!
