Mind-Body-Movement at Camp Pontiac
Enjoy yoga, martial arts, and customized training programs while at Camp Pontiac! Dr. Aracelly Latino-Feliz PT, DPT, SFMA leads our health and wellness program while helping campers improve their body and mind. We encourage our campers to find what activities make them happy, and more importantly, what activities make them feel great while enjoying fitness at sleepaway camp! Athletes shouldn’t worry about missing out on any training sessions because we have our “Train like a Pro!” program. Dr. Latino-Feliz is a doctor of physical therapy and works with our campers individually to create conditioning programming based on their sport. Dr. Latino-Feliz focuses on proper body mechanics depending on the sport each camper plays–this way campers can use the summer to optimize their performance. Camp Pontiac is proud to have a fitness summer camp program that includes so much more than individual and team sports. General fitness and exercise is encouraged in all our campers, and we provide this in our alternative workout programs. Our extensive “Mind-Body-Movement” program is mainly conducted within our pavilion and Big Top studio.
