Day 9
Day 9!!
Today was a beautiful, busy and sunny day at Pontiac!!
All campers enjoyed a full day of sports, leagues, water activities (including swimming instruction for lower camp) and of course, a lot of fun.
After a delicious dinner, all of Girls Side was wearing blue, yellow, green and orange colors ready to gather at our island campsite around the fire, where our newly traditional Tribal Wars opening ceremony takes place and where the Big chiefs and the Little Chiefs names where revealed.
On Boys Side, we also had a very exiting and spirited night! Today was the opening of our traditional College Game Day!! Everybody got selected to represent a team to compete for every week and now we’re ready to get the ball rolling.
The day ended with all the Subbie Boys having a nice time at Tree-Top, enjoying some s’mores and having fun around the campfire.

Michael has been working in his family’s camp since 1995 first as a group leader, then as a legal consultant and currently as a Director. He left his career as an attorney and real estate professional in 2015 to pursue his passion of working alongside his family to help run Pontiac year-round.
