Camp Activities & Programs

Pontiac is a unique “co-ed hybrid” sleepaway summer camp where we run the boys’ and girls’ programs separately on their respective campuses but also have plenty of special events and evening activities where campers come together for shared experiences. In this setting, siblings see one another multiple times a day. We are proud to provide a healthy co-ed social setting for our campers to provide natural environment for our campers’ growth.

At Pontiac, campers enjoy their hobbies, get involved in various sports, and explore new interests with top instructional guidance along the way. We offer a wide variety of activities including:

  • Athletics
  • Fine Arts & Culinary Arts
  • STEM
  • Special Events
  • Out-of-camp trips
  • Outdoor Adventure

Our in-camp and intercamp games keep our campers busy and allow for some friendly matchups during which teamwork, sportmanship and fun are focal points. Campers also can participate if they wish in more competitive tournament play for sports, swim meets, outdoor adventure climbing, and even chess! At no extra cost, we also offer optional private lessons in numerous activities during rest hour and general swim. We endeavor to introduce our younger campers to a whole variety of activities; in this way, we help them discover their interests and passions that perhaps they never even knew existed. And the Pontiac program grows with our campers! As campers move into Middle Camp and Upper Camp, their adventures evolve with them to allow for more personalized programming and advanced training.
