ROOKIE EXPERIENCE

Pontiac's Rookie Experience is an excellent opportunity for your child to enjoy a day in the life of a Pontiac camper! Our day together begins just before First Activity, when your child will begin to become a part of the love, fun, family, and friendship that comprises our summer home. Rookies will be guided through a day in the life of a Pontiac camper under the attentive eyes of our experienced Tour Counselors, many of whom are former campers themselves! Rookies will participate in their choice of so many exciting activities as part of a regularly-scheduled full camper day (see below for details).

We invite you to join us for the Rookie Experience on either Saturday, July 11th or Saturday, July 18th (rain or shine; space is limited). Rookies and parents will begin your day at 9:30am at the Canteen for a light breakfast, coffee, and an introduction to Pontiac with our camp directors.

Rookies will then meet up with their Tour Counselors to begin their Pontiac adventure while parents get started on their own tour around camp (until 12:30pm). Thereafter, we encourage parents to enjoy the beautiful area surrounding Camp Pontiac while the Rookies continue in their activities! CLICK HERE for fun things to do and see.
