Led by head professionals Suresh Maurya and Eric Erlandsen, Pontiac’s tennis program combines expert instruction, competitive play, and a whole lot of fun. Whether your child is just picking up a racket or dreaming of playing tournaments, our staff meets them where they are and helps them grow.
Meet the Pros Behind the Program
Suresh Maurya, a USPTA, USPTR, and AITA-certified master tennis instructor, brings decades of international coaching experience. Each year, he trains over 500 youth athletes and coaches in India and abroad. He’s a recipient of the USPTR “Coach of the Year – India” and the PTR “President’s Award,” and he brings that same high-level dedication to our courts.
Eric Erlandsen, also USPTA and PTR certified, currently serves as Director of Tennis and Pickleball at a prestigious South Carolina club. Together, Suresh and Eric lead a staff of 11 experienced instructors who guide campers through group clinics, selectives, and private lessons daily.
