OVERNIGHT TRIPS

Pre-teens are in for a treat with overnight trips! Camp Pontiac takes campers that are headed into 7th grade to the 1000 Acres Ranch Resort for a 3-day 2-night trip. This resort is a “Dude Ranch” where campers can participate in various activities and break the Pontiac routine for a few days. 1000 Acres has multiple pools, hiking trails, and games to play! We love bringing campers here to explore more of the Adirondacks in unique ways. At 1000 Acres, where we have exclusive use during our trip, our campers can horseback ride on trails, kayak and go tubing down the Hudson River, have a catch, play basketball, go swimming in the facility’s recently renovated pool complex, and enjoy fun lawn games like bocce and cornhole. These overnight trips get our campers excited for the summers to come where the trips get longer and the destinations are further away! Growing up at Camp Pontiac guarantees that no two summers will ever be the same. Our programming keeps up with the interests of each camper every year they come back so that it never feels like the “same old camp.” Where will Pontiac take you?!
