Outdoor Adventure
Camp Pontiac’s outdoor adventure program is a climber’s dream! Campers are supervised by fully trained and certified instructors. We have three separate walls where campers can discover a love for climbing or challenge themselves on our more advanced walls. The Bouldering Wall allows campers to learn the skills of climbing and practice safety techniques. Once they have mastered the basics, they can move to our 25-foot-high three-sided climbing tower.
Our most advanced wall is the five-sided 45-foot-high wall that includes a challenging overhang! Not only do our walls vary in difficulty, but climbing surfaces are changed out every week to make sure the experience is never the same.
Campers are welcome to join our climbing team to share in the experience with their friends. Every summer, our team travels for tournaments and hosts other teams during our own! The climbing team is a great opportunity for campers to bond, build camaraderie, and develop interpersonal skills.
Aside from climbing, Camp Pontiac also has a mid and high ropes course to challenge our campers. These put our campers to the test and help build confidence upon mastery of our courses. Our newest ropes course is updated annually to challenge campers year after year and contains 13 elements of varying difficulty
