SWIMMING

Swimming at summer camp will be a cherished memory forever! In addition to their own lakefronts, each of our boys’ and girls’ campuses have two heated pools at sleep away camp. Pools are separated based on activity—one for swimming, and one for water sports like water polo, basketball or volleyball in the water, or snorkeling. During any water activity while swimming on the East Coast, campers are supervised by 35 certified lifeguards. An essential part of our water program is running active swim instruction in small groups with approximately five campers for every instructor. Campers are taught through the various levels of the American Red Cross.
