Theater
Our air-conditioned “Playhouse” makes a beautiful venue for our theater and music summer camp program. A state-of-the-art stage, lighting, and sound system provides campers the opportunity to participate in Broadway-style shows at our theater sleepaway camp. For those not interested in the spotlight, our shows require lots of behind-the-scenes work! Campers can learn the responsibilities of the stage crew which includes unleashing their creativity in set design to discover other aspects of our theater program.
Campers can participate in shows if they choose to. The program is headed by a theater director, musical director, and choreography director. The Playhouse also has a spacious set design room to make amazing props and costumes with our set/costume designers! We use the Playhouse to host all-camp events such as Sing, “Hits”, talent shows, and discos. Our theater east coast camp has a little bit of everything! In case of inclement weather, the playhouse is the perfect rainy day facility for movies and game shows.
