Day Trips from Camp
Younger campers love their day trips to surrounding adventure parks, restaurants for fun lunches, and beaches! Highlights of the summer include Zoom Flume Water Park where slides and play areas make for an afternoon of fun while campers cool off. Adirondack Adventure Park has all the tubing and zip lines our campers could want. Other day trips include Lake George, the Basketball Hall of Fame, and a Hudson Valley Renegades baseball game!
Day trips are an amazing way for campers to break the routine and enjoy a day out and about. For our slightly older campers going into 6th grade, their day trips are to the beautiful surrounding areas of camp. Some of these include a day at Six Flags Agawam, a Hudson River cruise, and the Adirondack Treetop Course! Even though Camp Pontiac is a treasure all on its own, traveling and exploring other areas are so exciting when you’re with your camp friends. Our day trips are an awesome opportunity for campers to showcase how responsible they are and how much Pontiac has helped them grow!
